Fernwood Spirit Day and Activity Group Picture Day - March 27th
On March 27th, we would like all students and staff to wear their Fernwood tshirts or wear black or pink. We want the whole school to be in the spirit. The yearbook committee will be taking pictures of our spirit for the yearbook. Activity pictures will also be taken such as Student Council, Safety Patrol and Choir and used in the yearbook that comes out the last day of school.
Student Council - Spirit Day - March 28th
The student council has set the March 28th spirit day as Dress Like A Construction Worker Day. 
Fernwood Community Traffic Request
For family's driving their children to school, parking and then walking on 39th, we are requesting that you do not park the wrong way on the street, or complete a U-Turn across the double yellow line in the street. This creates safety issues for oncoming traffic as well as for our community. We have had many community members reaching out expressing concern around this practice.
We appreciate everyone's patience through our construction phase and the adjustments that have been made in our arrival and dismissal procedures. We realize the impacts it has on family scheduling and determining the best way to provide transportation for your child. Thank you for your partnership in keeping Fernwood a safe community.

March Meal Support for Fasting Students
To support students fasting in March for Ramadan, Northshore Food & Nutrition Services is offering take-home meal packs with shelf-stable breakfast and lunch options from Monday, March 3, to Friday, March 28. These vegetarian meal packs can be collected daily during breakfast service at each school. Students will be charged according to their free, reduced, or paid meal eligibility. Hello Fernwood Families!
Let us all join to celebrate the unity in diversity! The Fernwood Cultural Night team would like to invite you to showcase the spectacular beauty
of your culture.
The event is going to take place at the commons area of North Creek High School on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
Let's foster connections and partnerships across our community by sharing our diverse cultures, experiences, their similarities and differences. Families can do this by participating in cultural performances, exhibits, fashion parade, informative speeches, and international food fair.
DEADLINE TO SIGN UP is Friday, March 28th, 2025, to participate in the event. Please click on this link to sign up.
Volunteers Needed: As with any event, it takes many hands to bring it all together. If you would love to help out on the evening of the event please sign up here! Middle & high schoolers are welcome!
