Class Picture Day
On February 29th, we will be having class pictures taken. Please send in your order forms before or on the 29th. Orders can be placed online at Dorian.com. No late paper orders will be excepted.
i-Ready Challenge Update
We are pleased to announce that students reached their i-Ready school-wide challenge goal obtaining 93% accuracy individual i-Ready lessons.
As a result of reaching the goal, students will be able to engage in an EXTRA FUN RECESS this Friday, March 1st! This means we will have additional activities for them to engage in during lunch recess. Thank you for your partnership in supporting students to do their best on individual school-wide goals. Watch for a request for volunteers to come soon!
PLAY OF THE DAY Volunteers needed!
Mrs. McVay, Fernwood's Dean of Students, is working to implement a new recess activity, called PLAY OF THE DAY. Thanks to a grant from the Northshore Schools Foundation, our Fernwood students will have additional game/activity options out at lunch recess. Each day, we will rotate 1-2 activities as playground options. In order to set students up for success, we need your help!
Please consider signing up for one (or more!) time slots to help students get used to the systems we have built around the activities.

Enrollment for 2024-2025 School Year
NSD opened enrollment for students for the 2024-2025 school year on Monday, January 8th. Enrollment is completed online. Directions on how to enroll, including what documentation is required, can be found on the District enrollment webpage.
