School-Home Partnership Our students have been working hard at demonstrating safe bodies in the walkways these first weeks back from spring break. We continue to emphasize safe bodies next week, focusing on the cafeteria and bathrooms. Please discuss with your child(ren) how they can be safe, kind, learners by using kind words, cleaning up after themselves, and washing their hands. Thank you for supporting our efforts in keeping students safe at Fernwood.
Lost and Found Thank you families for looking through the lost and found. Many items found their way back home! Items will be donated at the end of next week, May 1st. Please come check the lost and found before then. Also, if you are a family in need, please come check the racks for items you could use. |

SBA Assessments Our statewide assessments (SBA) for students in grades 3-5 will be starting on April 28th. Please plan around these important dates when making appointments or plans for early dismissals needed for your child. Students benefit from taking these assessments at the same time as their classmates in the controlled testing environment that is familiar to them. We appreciate your partnership in ensuring your child gets plenty of sleep, eats a healthy breakfast and is at school ready to do their best. See calendar below for dates of testing. |
