Spring Break (4/6-4/10)

We want to wish all of you a restful spring break. Whether you are traveling near, far or staying home we hope you find time to disconnect and enjoy the spring weather with some down time. Please see below for important reminders about upcoming events when we return to school.

Track and Field Registration Now Open!

Registration is now open for students in grades 3-5. Practice will begin on Wednesday, April 15th from 8:00-9:00am in the gym for those that have enrolled. Meets will be on Thursdays starting April 30th at 5pm.

The cost is $45 and scholarships are available. Please contact the office about scholarship information. You can register/pay via TouchBase (https://schoolsales.nsd.org Opens a New Window.)

SBA Assessments

Our statewide assessments (SBA) for students in grades 3-5 will be starting on April 28th. Please plan around these important dates when making appointments or plans for early dismissals needed for your child. Students benefit from taking these assessments at the same time as their classmates in the controlled testing environment that is familiar to them. We appreciate your partnership in ensuring your child gets plenty of sleep, eats a healthy breakfast and is at school ready to do their best. See calendar below for dates of testing.

Kindergarten Enrollment

Please share with neighbors and friends in the Fernwood area who may have child ready for kindergarten. Fernwood is open for registration! Early registration enables us to plan for the 2026-27 school and be able to welcome all our new panther cubs!
