Glow Dance Tickers for Sale Reminder!
Please join us on Friday, October 27th in the Fernwood gym for the1st Annual Glow Dance! The dance will be held from 6 to 8pm.
Admission is $5 per student ($10 at the door). Tickets will be available starting Monday, October 2nd on social media. You will also be able to purchase tickets at the door. There will be glow sticks and other fun accessories for sale at the door as well! Please note: this is not a drop off event. We ask that 1 adult accompany each family.
There will be child friendly music played by a professional DJ, a photo booth, and food trucks. Come for dinner and dance the night away! Students are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes, as long as they adhere to all of Fernwood’s guidelines for acceptable school attire (no masks, accessories, toy weapons, etc), and also make sure they are easy to move in for dancing!
We can’t wait to see everyone there and make this an amazing annual community event! All proceeds from the dance will go to supporting Fernwood Elementary.
Scholastic Book Fair
PTSA would like to bring the Scholastic Book Fair to the Fernwood Library on November 3-9th. 25% of all sales will be donated to Fernwood Elementary school to purchase new books and other supplies which will definitely help our kids.
In order to achieve this, PTSA needs volunteers to sign up for various activities between Nov 2nd and Nov 9th. There are various volunteer opportunities available like:
- setting up the book fair on Nov 2nd,
- helping with the fair between Nov 3rd till Nov 9th,
- being a volunteer cashier during the event,
- being an extra helper during the family evening on Wednesday 8th between 3 PM - 6 PM and pack-up volunteers on Nov 9th after school.
