NO SCHOOL - Monday, January 15th
There will be no school on Monday, January 15th in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr Day.

i-Ready Challenge
We had a great time at our Extra Fun Recess on Friday, January 5th celebrating students' efforts of achieving our school-wide i-Ready goal. Last month students worked to achieve 92% accuracy on their individual i-Ready lessons. Since they met that goal, this month we are working towards achieving 93% accuracy, specifically in reading lessons. However, students can still continue to engage in individual math lessons as well. If students achieve this goal, they will receive another Extra Fun Recess at the beginning of February.

DISTRICT INFORMATION

 

Enrollment for 2024-2025 School Year

NSD opened enrollment for students for the 2024-2025 school year on Monday, January 8th.  Enrollment is completed online. Directions on how to enroll, including what documentation is required, can be found on the District enrollment webpage.

Spelling Bee Second Round - Makeup

Thanks for reaching out about this. I would like to add the rescheduled date for second round of spelling Bee which Jan 18th , 2024. Same Schedule is going to be followed. The second round of the spelling bee is a written test that is going to be held on Jan 18th,2024 in the school cafeteria. There are three slots for the written test as below:

  • Grade 1 : 6:30-7:15 pm - 20 words

  • Grade 2 & Grade 3 :7:30-8:00 pm - 25 words

  • Grade 4 & Grade 5 :8:15-8:45 pm - 30 words
